Abdullahi whines in Abuja that the APC wants to tax you to death

The African Democratic Congress accused the federal administration of exacerbating citizen hardships through proposed fuel and aviation levies. National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi addressed reporters during weekend discussions in Abuja. He claimed the ruling party lacks strategies to ease public suffering. Current economic pressures stem from the elimination of subsidies, currency weakening, and mounting international obligations. The opposition representative warned that continued leadership would harm national welfare.

Abdullahi defended his party's critical stance toward government policies. He emphasized that challenging authorities represents a fundamental responsibility of opposition. The spokesman argued that ruling officials prefer operating without scrutiny or accountability measures. He suggested that electoral change offers the primary solution to administrative failures. Citizens face mounting pressure to seek alternative leadership through democratic processes.
