Abhishek and Varun cling to T20I thrones as Pakistan scrambles

Abhishek Sharma and Varun Chakravarthy maintained their leading positions in ICC Men's T20I batting and bowling rankings respectively. Chakravarthy strengthened his top position with a 14-point rating gain after delivering economical figures of 0-25 against Pakistan during the Asia Cup Super Four stage. Hardik Pandya advanced six positions to reach 60th place among bowlers while preserving his number one all-rounder status. Abhishek secured his batting leadership through a quick 38 against Oman and a match-winning 74 that helped India chase Pakistan's 171-run target. His teammate Tilak Varma climbed one spot to third place after contributing an unbeaten 30 from 19 deliveries against Pakistan.

Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed made the most significant leap, rising 12 places to fourth in bowling rankings with 703 rating points. Mustafizur Rahman returned to the top ten with a six-position jump after claiming six wickets across two matches. Several other players achieved notable ranking improvements throughout the tournament.
