Ghana's Electoral Commission has decided to hold fresh elections at 19 polling stations out of 37 locations for Ablekuma North Constituency. The area still lacks a Member of Parliament after the December 2024 general elections left the race unfinished. Officials from both major political parties met on Tuesday July 1 to discuss the problem. The commission scheduled the new voting day for Friday July 11 2025. Political leaders from NPP and NDC reached an agreement during their talks.
