AC Milan Wants Club Brugge Midfield Star Onyedika

AC Milan wants Club Brugge star Raphael Onyedika to replace departing midfielder Tijjani Reijnders. Manchester City plans to sign the Dutch player before the FIFA Club World Cup starts later during June. Italian newspaper Gazetta dello Sport reports that Onyedika tops Milan's list of possible replacements. The Nigerian defensive midfielder impressed everyone during Club Brugge's Champions League run to the quarterfinals. Several Premier League teams also want to sign the talented 23-year-old player.

Reijnders will join Manchester City's squad for their upcoming tournament campaign. Milan must find a quality midfielder to fill the gap left behind after his departure. Onyedika showed great skill and leadership throughout Brugge's European competition. The young Nigerian earned praise for his defensive work and passing ability during important matches. Milan believes he can adapt quickly to Italian soccer and help their team compete at the highest level.
