Gnabry, Stanisic out as Bayern face Club Brugge

Bayern Munich will compete without Serge Gnabry and Josip Stanisic when the German club faces Club Brugge on Wednesday in Champions League action, and manager Vincent Kompany confirmed both players remain unavailable. Gnabry missed the final training session on Tuesday because of inner thigh muscle problems, but the 30-year-old forward completed a 30-minute workout on the side field with rehabilitation manager Benjamin Sommer. Stanisic participated in half the session before continuing recovery exercises for 40 minutes, and the 25-year-old defender has dealt with a partial tear of the internal ligament in his right knee for five weeks. German newspaper Bild reported that Stanisic focused on short runs and loading the injured knee, but training revealed minor setbacks for the player.
