Intertek certified Adani Energy Solutions Ltd as Zero Waste to Landfill across all operational sites and corporate headquarters on Wednesday. The transmission company accomplished complete waste diversion from landfills while maintaining zero landfill disposal rates. This waste management approach redirects at least 90 percent of materials through reduction, reuse, recycling, and recovery processes. The certification represents a major milestone in AESL's Environmental, Social, and Governance initiatives launched during fiscal year 2021. The achievement demonstrates the company's commitment to resource conservation and environmental impact reduction.

AESL maintains the largest private transmission infrastructure in the country with 26,696 circuit kilometers and 93,236 MVA transformation capacity. The organization provides electricity services to over 12 million customers in Mumbai and Mundra SEZ while developing smart metering capabilities. Current smart meter orders exceed 22.8 million units as the company expands its integration services.
