Aflao Border Bust Hauls 26 in Massive Drug Sweep

Police officers caught 26 people during drug raids near the Aflao border area. The Volta Regional Police Command planned the arrests using secret information about illegal drug deals. Officers searched many places across the border town and found people selling drugs. The police wanted to stop criminals from moving drugs through the area. This operation helped catch numerous drug dealers simultaneously.

Officers found 20 packets of marijuana and 12 bags of Tramadol pills during their search. Police also discovered dried marijuana leaves stored inside a plastic container. The search teams collected over 30,000 Ghana cedis and 17,500 CFA francs from the suspects. Officers took six pieces of candy mixed with drugs and eight skin creams containing illegal substances. Police found 26 blocks of compressed marijuana hidden inside a fertilizer bag.

All arrested people remain locked up at the police station, waiting for court dates. The police continue to check evidence and question the suspects about their crimes. Court hearings will decide what happens to each person caught in the drug operation. The arrests show police efforts to fight drug trafficking at the border. Officials hope this action will scare other drug dealers away from the area.
