Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu said the mission requires additional soldiers, more air support, better intelligence, and improved coordination between Somali government groups. Uganda sends the most troops to this mission, followed by Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Kenya. The mission also needs proper training for Somali security forces and local defense groups to protect areas freed from terrorists.
