Algoriffix has rebuilt the Transkr V4 audio-to-MIDI engine

Transkr V4 gives Algoriffix a rebuilt path from played audio to editable MIDI. It handles guitar, bass, voice, piano, bowed strings, and sax, either during a live take or from saved recordings. And the app studies the instrument type instead of treating every source the same way.

For guitar and bass, neck position gets extra attention, which helps when one pitch can come from several frets. No hex pickup is needed. Chords, slash voicings, bass notes, fingering, harmony, and polyphonic parts also get better detection.

MusicXML and MXL files can carry tab, chord shapes, and notation out of the app. Sax support covers soprano through baritone, while beat detection handles compound meter. Manual key, BPM, and meter choices can guide file conversion. Model Tuner adjusts its instrument model from a recorded note.

Transkr V4 runs standalone or through VST3, AU, and AAX on Mac and Windows. Promo pricing is $99, with $129 as the regular cost. A 14-day trial is offered, while current Transkr buyers get the V4 upgrade at no charge.
