Alien Rogue Incursion Evolved Lands On PS5 And PC

Fans without VR gear can play Alien Rogue Incursion soon. Survios plans to release a standard screen version called Evolved Edition for PlayStation 5 and PC next September. The regular game costs $29.99, with a deluxe option available for $39.99 that adds artwork and extra gear designs. Players can add the title to their wish lists today.

Questions remain about how well this VR adventure will work on flat screens since the original used headset features. The trailer shows engine footage but not actual gameplay examples. This release marks just the first half of a larger story, which surprised many buyers of the original version. Survios later explained that they always planned a two-part story but failed to make this clear before launch.

The company is working on both this non-VR adaptation and part two simultaneously. Players wonder if the next chapter will need VR first or arrive for all platforms together. Alien Isolation fans praised Rogue Incursion as the scary space experience they wanted all along. The game stood out among VR releases last year because it captured the fear and tension from the movies.
