Amad's thunderbolt earns United a dramatic draw at Forest

Manchester United salvaged a draw against Nottingham Forest through Amad Diallo's spectacular volley in the 81st minute at the City Ground. Casemiro had given the visitors a halftime advantage with a header from a disputed corner kick, putting United on track for their fourth consecutive victory and a potential second-place finish in the standings.

Forest mounted a dramatic comeback within two minutes during the second half. Captain Morgan Gibbs-White powered past Amad to convert Ryan Yates' cross from the right flank. Moments later, Nicolo Savona pounced on a rebound inside the six-yard box after Igor Jesus' header ricocheted off multiple players, firing past goalkeeper Sanne Lammens to give Forest a 2-1 lead.

Ruben Amorim's squad demonstrated newfound mental resilience by battling back into the contest. Bruno Fernandes rattled the post before Amad produced a brilliant first-time strike from outside the area, connecting with a bouncing clearance to beat Matz Sels. United nearly claimed all three points when Amad's late attempt was cleared off the line by Murillo during stoppage time.
