Director Chandra Barot passed away Sunday morning at age 86 after battling pulmonary fibrosis for seven years. Amitabh Bachchan mourned the filmmaker on his blog, describing Barot as more than a professional colleague. The veteran actor emphasized their bond extended beyond their collaboration on the 1975 classic Don. Barot had been receiving treatment at Guru Nanak Hospital before his death. His wife Deepa Barot confirmed the passing.
