Amitabh honors his mom’s memory, keeps quiet as she taught him

Amitabh Bachchan honored his late mother, Teji Bachchan, on the anniversary of her passing, sharing a photo and a reflective note on his blog. He dedicated the day to her memory, writing that words were insufficient, leaving only prayers. Teji Bachchan, who married the poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan and raised two sons, Amitabh and Ajitabh, passed away after a long illness at age ninety-three.

In other family news, Bachchan mentioned the adjusted release date for his grandson Agastya Nanda's upcoming film Ikkis. The war drama, directed by Sriram Raghavan and based on a lieutenant's actions during a historic battle, was shifted to a later date, which he humorously noted some considered a positive sign. Agastya previously appeared in the live-action adaptation The Archies for his acting debut.

Bachchan himself currently hosts the newest season of the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, the Hindi version of a well-known international franchise. The program airs on a major television network and its associated streaming service.
