Anguissa's header sends Napoli top

Napoli extended their Serie A lead to three points after beating Lecce 1-0 away from home. Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa scored the winner in the 69th minute by heading in David Neres' free kick from close distance under manager Antonio Conte.

Lecce missed a chance to take the lead when Francesco Camarda had his 57th-minute penalty stopped by Napoli keeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic. The Serbian has blocked five of the nine spot kicks he has faced in the Italian top flight this season.

Napoli holds a three-point advantage over second-place Roma despite playing one additional match. The club competed for the first time since Kevin de Bruyne sustained a serious thigh problem that will sideline him for an extended stretch.

The league leaders face Como at home on Saturday at 17:00 GMT in their next fixture.
