Gigabyte built a deceptively small RTX 5090 that hides a third fan. The new AORUS Infinity model uses a clever triple-fan cooler packed into a compact triple-slot design. It employs a white, black, and silver color scheme with circular vents on top for airflow.
The card is built around NVIDIA's Founders Edition PCB, notable for its vertically mounted power connector. Its cooling system, called Windforce Hyperburst, uses two main Hawk fans, a vapor chamber, and special heat pipes. A third fan sits in the center of the shroud, labeled as an Overdrive fan for extra cooling during heavy loads. The thermal interface material is a composite metal grease.
This design aims to deliver full RTX 5090 performance and beyond within a smaller footprint. Gigabyte has not announced pricing or a release date for the AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 Infinity.
