Apple is dealing with a massive executive exodus after losing four major C-suite figures this week. The company's AI chief, John Giannandrea, got replaced by Microsoft's Amar Subramanya, while Meta snatched up UI design head Alan Dye, who had been behind iconic looks like the iPhone X interface and the Dynamic Island. General counsel Kat Adams and environment VP Lisa Jackson are both heading out soon, with Adams staying until late next year and Jackson leaving next month.
The bleeding isn't stopping there either. OpenAI apparently recruited around 40 Apple engineers recently for its device project with Jony Ive's firm, grabbing people like manufacturing expert Matt Theobald and human interface designer Cyrus Daniel Irani. Even the designer behind the iPhone Air bailed to join an AI startup.
