Umm generally speaking, secret societies are all over the world so it makes less sense to say there aren't any secret societies in Zimbabwe.

A group of influential individuals can possibly start their own secret society in Zimbabwe too.

The difference is: "a society with secrets" can be approached by members of a general public who may seek to be part of it.

Whereas: "a secret society" is literary unheard of. There is nowhere a member of the general public can inquire on how to join one. And often it doesn't accept members without a verified pedigree.

It can operate in plain sight but still the masses won't notice a single thing because it doesn't generate publicity and doesn't share any record of its members or operations both offline or online.

Professor Jonathan Moyo has been very bitter. Why don't he simply accept Emmerson Mnangagwa is now the leader of Zanu PF and the currently elected President of Zimbabwe.
