Arusha Regional Commissioner Amos Makalla is hyped about tourist numbers heading into the holidays, and he gave props to the Tanzania Association of Tour Operators for keeping things smooth during protests back in October while pushing Tanzanian tourism worldwide. The RC told visitors planning trips to Ngorongoro, Kilimanjaro, Serengeti, and Tarangire that security is locked down across the region.
