Police chief Namutebi Hadijja opened a brand new police station in Bukwo on Friday. The Uganda Police built this headquarters themselves through their Construction Unit. Namutebi represented Police boss Abas Byakagaba at the event.
When she launched the station, Namutebi told officers they must use the building to help local people fairly and honestly. She asked the police staff to give excellent service. Namutebi warned them not to take bribes because that makes people distrust the Uganda Police Force.
