ASUS debuts ProArt OLED PA27USD with 12G SDI and giant PQ09U microLED

ASUS launched two professional displays targeting creative industry professionals. The ProArt OLED PA27USD features a 27-inch 4K QD OLED panel that delivers 1200 cd/m² peak brightness with HDR10 and HLG format compatibility. Professional workflows benefit from the monitor's 12G-SDI port for uncompressed video at 12 Gbit/s transmission speeds. Two USB-C connections provide Thunderbolt 4 capabilities while supplying 96 watts of charging power through single-cable solutions. Video editors and colorists will find this compact display suitable for accurate color reproduction tasks.

The ProArt Cinema PQ09U presents a massive 162-inch microLED screen designed for large-scale visual applications. This display achieves the same 1200 cd/m² brightness levels as its smaller counterpart. The 0.93 millimeter pixel pitch maintains image sharpness at close viewing distances. Cinema production facilities and screening environments represent primary markets for this oversized display technology. Both monitors address different professional segments within the creative production industry.
