ASUS XG32UCWMG is dead on arrival with its old DisplayPort 1.4

ASUS released two premium gaming monitors featuring WOLED technology with dual resolution capabilities. The ROG Strix XG32UCWMG and XG32UCWG models represent the first glossy 4K WOLED displays designed for gaming applications. Both monitors allow users to switch between 4K and Full HD modes through single-tap controls. The XG32UCWMG delivers 240Hz refresh rates at 4K resolution and reaches 480Hz when operating at 1080p. The XG32UCWMG achieves 165Hz at 4K and 330Hz at Full HD resolutions.

Each monitor incorporates a 31.5-inch WOLED panel that produces enhanced black levels in bright environments. The displays support HDR10 standards and provide true 10-bit color depth for accurate visual reproduction. TrueBlack Glossy film technology reduces glare while maintaining superior contrast ratios. Connectivity options encompass HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces, and USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode functionality. ASUS has not announced official pricing for either monitor model.
