Babajide Excited to Make Super Falcons AFCON Debut

Rinsola Babajide feels thrilled about making the Super Falcons squad for the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations. Coach Justine Madugu picked 24 players for his final team on Friday. Babajide joins 11 other first-time players who will compete for Nigeria. The 27-year-old player will represent her country at a major tournament for the first time ever. She used to play for Brighton & Hove Albion before getting this chance.

The excited footballer shared her joy on social media after learning about her selection. She posted on X about going to her first senior major tournament.
