Bafana Legends Head to Botswana for Epic Clash

South Africa picked 20 former soccer stars for the 2025 Clash of Legends tournament. The Bafana Bafana Legends will play against Zimbabwe Legends on June 21. The match happens at Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown, Botswana. This is a one-day event with four countries taking part. Several players from the group competed during the 2010 FIFA World Cup that South Africa hosted.

Botswana Legends face Namibia Legends in the second game of the day. The teams that win their first matches will meet in the final game. The losing teams will compete for third and fourth place. The tournament brings together retired players from across southern Africa.

The South African team features well-known names like Itumeleng Khune, Moeneeb Josephs, and Siphiwe Tshabalala. Other squad members are Matthew Booth, Happy Jele, Morgan Gould, and Reneilwe Letsholonyane. The complete roster has 20 players who represented their country during their active careers. Fans can watch these former international players compete once more against regional rivals.
