Bago and Garba Crush Resignation Rumors in Niger

Niger Governor Bago wants everyone to know he works well with his deputy. He told people they should stick together as a team after some heard rumors about his deputy leaving. The governor spoke after the Workers Day events ended in Minna. He said they share leadership duties for the state. Their partnership focuses on reaching important goals.

Bago asked citizens to keep backing his government plans. He promised better days ahead for Niger State. The governor told state workers he cares about making their lives easier. He thanked them for staying patient with his administration. Labor leader Idris Lafene called workers the main support of society.

Union officials praised the governor for helping employees. The state now pays workers a minimum wage of N80,000. The government also gave extra money to local staff members. Officials started paying retirement benefits again. They handed out food during hard times. The state settled money owed to workers from 2019.
