Bangladesh fell as Pakistan rule the Maldives beach handball

Pakistan eliminated Bangladesh from the Six Nations Commonwealth Beach Handball Championship semi-finals on Sunday in Kulhudhuffushi, Maldives. The Pakistani team secured victory with scores of 22-17 and 27-5 across two sets. Bangladesh had previously fallen to Sri Lanka in straight sets with margins of 26-10 and 24-14. The team had advanced to the semi-final round by defeating Maldives, South Africa, and India during earlier tournament play. Bangladesh will compete for third place on Monday at 5 PM Bangladesh Standard Time against whichever team loses the Sri Lanka versus Maldives semi-final.
