Bangladesh secure three foreign coaches for women's Asian Cup

The Bangladesh Football Federation plans to expand its women's national team coaching structure with three international appointments. Mahfuza Akhter Kiron from the federation's women's division announced these additions on Wednesday. English manager Peter Butler will receive support from a goalkeeping specialist, a female assistant coach, and a fitness expert. President Tabith Awal approved the recruitment strategy after discussions with Kiron. The federation submitted biographical information for one candidate to the president for evaluation.

Current coaching personnel will remain with the squad as the organization builds around existing staff. Kiron presented her expansion proposal one month before the announcement. The federation seeks qualified international professionals to strengthen preparation for continental competition. These appointments represent the organization's commitment to developing women's football infrastructure. The enhanced coaching team will prepare Bangladesh for challenging group stage matches against North Korea, China, and Uzbekistan in Group B during the upcoming AFC Women's Asian Cup.
