Barca injury chaos as Flick faces Real Sociedad test

Barcelona faces mounting injury concerns before Sunday's home match against Real Sociedad. Coach Hansi Flick lost goalkeeper Joan Garcia for six weeks due to knee damage and winger Raphinha for three weeks with a hamstring strain. Midfielder Gavi remains absent for five months following knee surgery, while Fermin Lopez sits out three weeks with his injury.

Lamine Yamal may return after missing four games with a pelvic problem, and defender Alejandro Balde could also feature. The Catalans will play at Montjuic Stadium after recent matches at the smaller Johan Cruyff Stadium during Camp Nou renovations. Real Sociedad arrives with confidence after securing their first victory under manager Sergio Francisco against Mallorca. The visitors showed improved form with strong performances from Mikel Oyarzabal, Take Kubo and Ander Barrenetxea.
