Bashundhara Shuvosangho dumps books on Bandarban

Bashundhara Shuvosangho donated books to Chinton Public Library in Bandarban on Friday at the facility in Gungguru Para. Md Farhad Sardar served as the chief guest, while U Yi Sing Marma attended as the special guest at the ceremony.

Sardar told attendees that libraries form the backbone of national development, and that youth must develop reading habits. Marma stated that books can enlighten society and that the organization wants young people to use knowledge for building the nation's future.

Robin Tonchongya said establishing libraries in hill areas creates paths toward an enlightened society. Methui Ching Khiyang expressed gratitude and said the donation will enrich the library's collection.

Officials expressed hope that the initiative will advance reading culture in Bandarban's hill communities. The event brought together local dignitaries, students, and youth representatives from the region.
