Battlefield 6 lands on October 10 as Electronic Arts confirms leak on price and date

Electronic Arts confirmed Battlefield 6 launches on October 10 across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles with no early access available. Standard editions cost $69.99 on PC and consoles, while Phantom editions reach $99.99, with Europeans paying higher console prices. Two open beta weekends occur August 9-10 and August 14-17.

The 2027 storyline features a world thrown into chaos after a high-profile assassination coincides with major European nations leaving NATO. Players control the Marine Raiders squad Dagger 1-3 in Motive's single-player campaign, battling the private military corporation PAX ARMATA globally. The kinesthetic combat system introduces drag-and-revive mechanics, peek-and-lean functionality, combat rolls, weapon mounting, and expanded vehicle passenger capacity.

Four classic classes return with distinct abilities and training specializations. Nine maps launch alongside traditional modes like Conquest and Rush, plus new Escalation mode. Portal editor receives Godot-powered spatial tools with verified progression support and regular post-launch content updates planned.
