Battlefield 6 leak reveals Oct 10 date, pricier console versions

Electronic Arts will release Battlefield 6 across multiple platforms on October 10, according to reliable industry sources. Dealabs leaker billbil-kun reports the franchise's next installment arrives for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. Two distinct versions will become available at launch. The Standard Edition provides the base game experience, while the Phantom Edition offers additional digital content without early access privileges.

Console players face higher pricing compared to PC users in European markets. Standard Edition costs €69.99 on PC versus €79.99 on PlayStation and Xbox platforms. The premium Phantom Edition carries a €99.99 price tag for PC customers and €109.99 for console owners. Players purchasing the Standard Edition may later acquire Phantom Pack upgrades to access premium content. EA plans to reveal the game through an official trailer within the next day.
