Bauchi PDP tells its aspirants to hide their faces

Bauchi State's Peoples Democratic Party ordered political candidates to clear all promotional materials from city streets ahead of a major economic conference. Party Publicity Secretary Dayyabu Chiroma announced the cleanup mandate through an official statement released on Thursday. The removal targets campaign posters and advertising boards throughout the metropolitan area before the investment gathering begins.

The October 8-9, 2025, Bauchi Investment Summit will welcome business leaders, government representatives, and development organizations from multiple countries. State officials want to present an organized urban landscape that demonstrates their commitment to economic progress. The party believes a well-maintained appearance will attract potential investors to various industry sectors across the region. Leadership praised political aspirants for supporting the initiative designed to boost the summit's effectiveness.
