Bhutan PM checks on Khaleda, gifts a bouquet to BNP chief

Bhutan's Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay met with a Bangladesh Nationalist Party delegation at a Dhaka hotel, where he asked about opposition leader Khaleda Zia's medical condition. The BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir headed the group that held talks with Tobgay covering commerce, energy supplies, and bilateral cooperation. Zia was undergoing hospital examinations at Evercare Hospital during the gathering.

Tobgay presented flowers to Fakhrul, who plans to deliver them to Zia when he visits her. The Bhutanese leader expressed his nation's desire for impartial voting processes in Bangladesh and stated readiness to collaborate with any future government. Standing Committee Member Abdul Moyeen Khan and Organising Secretary Shama Obaed also participated in the delegation.
