Bibiani Gold Stars and Asante Kotoko to Fly Ghana Flag in CAF 2025-26 Interclub

Two Ghana football clubs have earned spots for African continental tournaments next season. Bibiani Gold Stars captured their first league championship after three years of top-flight competition. The team collected 63 points under head coach Stephen Frimpong Manso to claim the title. Gold Stars secured qualification for the CAF Champions League as league winners. Their achievement marks a remarkable rise for the relatively new premier league club.

Asante Kotoko earned their continental berth through cup success rather than league performance. The Porcupine Warriors defeated Golden Kick FC to win the MTN FA Cup final. This victory grants them entry to the CAF Confederation Cup competition. Kotoko adds another trophy to their extensive collection of domestic honors. The club continues their tradition of representing Ghana on the continental stage.

Both teams must complete administrative requirements before beginning their African campaigns. Club licensing procedures need finishing before the continental competitions start. Player registration processes also require completion for both squads. The clubs will start preparing for their respective tournaments after handling these formalities. Ghana expects strong performances from both representatives in African club football next season.
