Asante Kotoko signed winger Johnson Owusu Oppong to a two-year deal as the club builds its roster for African competition. The fast and talented player brings valuable experience from his time with Dreams FC during their run to the CAF Confederation Cup semifinals. Oppong also played for teams across Europe during his career abroad. He spent time with C.S. Marítimo from Portugal, FC Zlín from the Czech Republic and KF Kukësi from Albania. His European experience gives him knowledge that will help Kotoko when they return to continental matches.
