Bibiani GoldStars Eye 11 New Signings for Historic CAF Campaign

Bibiani GoldStars will add eleven fresh faces to their squad ahead of their historic debut at the CAF Champions League. CEO Alwasi Adu announced the ambitious recruitment drive after the Miners claimed their first Ghana Premier League championship. The club earned qualification for Africa's most prestigious competition through their outstanding domestic performance. Four new signings have already joined the team as part of this major expansion. The additions include Emmanuel Agyenim Boateng, Emmanuel Kontor, Barimah Baah, and Emmanuel Ankrah.

Head coach Frimpong Manso provided specific guidance about which positions needed strengthening for continental football. The technical team wants eight seasoned professionals combined with several promising youngsters to create squad depth. Adu explained that management follows the coach's recommendations when identifying transfer targets. The strategy aims to build internal competition among players and give tactical flexibility. Strong squad rotation will help the team handle multiple competitions throughout the season.

PAC Academy player Emmanuel Kojo Addy remains under discussion as another potential recruit for the ambitious project. Club officials continue talks about securing his services before the transfer window closes. The deal could happen soon if both parties reach agreement on terms. Bibiani GoldStars will test their new squad during the GHALCA Top 4 tournament starting August first. This competition provides valuable preparation time before their maiden Champions League campaign begins.
