Amitabh Bachchan stopped filming his show Kaun Banega Crorepati recently. He paused right after a contestant got to the hot seat because her husband, who was with her, got sick. Bachchan wrote on his blog that he felt it was wrong to continue the game with her worrying about him.
He told the production team to reschedule the shoot for another day so the husband could recover. To make up for the broadcast delay, Bachchan agreed to film three episodes in one day instead of the usual two. The show is the Hindi version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, where contestants answer multiple-choice questions using lifelines. It airs on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV.
