Bihar gets Amrit Bharat trains, Patna cheers

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw launched seven new train services from Bihar on Navratri, offering affordable travel options for lower and middle-income passengers. Three Amrit Bharat Express trains will connect Darbhanga to Madar, Muzaffarpur to Charlapalli, and Chhapra to Anand Vihar. Four additional passenger trains will serve shorter routes within the state.

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary inaugurated the services at Patna Junction while Vaishnaw flagged them off virtually from New Delhi. Passengers praised the comfortable facilities, enhanced security features, and convenient connectivity. The minister credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for prioritizing railway infrastructure development. Travelers viewed the launch as a significant advancement for Bihar, particularly benefiting migrants and daily commuters ahead of Dussehra celebrations.
