Bilal Nadir's collapse halts Marseille clash

Moroccan footballer Bilal Nadir collapsed on the pitch on Wednesday night in the 86th minute of a French league match between Olympique Marseille and Angers, prompting an immediate medical response. The 21-year-old lost consciousness roughly ten minutes after entering as a substitute, causing play to stop as teammates from both sides surrounded him. Medical personnel attended to Nadir before transporting him to a hospital for evaluation.

Marseille manager Roberto De Zerbi told reporters the player had regained consciousness and was undergoing tests. Ligue 1 Plus reported Nadir experienced a severe headache before fainting, but remains stable under medical supervision. The match concluded 2-2 after a several-minute delay. Marseille plans to release details about the condition of Nadir, who has represented Morocco at the under-23 level.
