BioShock 4 faces a leadership shakeup as Cloud Chamber misses key review with 2K

Take-Two and 2K leadership rejected BioShock 4 during a recent development review. Cloud Chamber received orders to revise the game's narrative direction. Studio leadership faced immediate reassignment following the failed assessment. Kelley Gilmore transitioned from studio head to a publishing position. Creative director Hogarth de la Plante also moved to publishing duties.

Development teams learned that efficiency improvements were mandatory. Staff members fear potential layoffs may follow these changes. A planned remake of the original BioShock was cancelled earlier this year. The sequel has remained in development for over ten years. 2K Games confirmed they possess a good product but seek greatness.
