Bitlantis has pushed Kveik 1.3 into much deeper MIDI territory with per-track arpeggiation and full DAW automation. The sequencer still produces MIDI rather than audio, feeding drums, synths, bass instruments, or external gear from inside a host.
ARP tracks can spread incoming chords across steps, with pitch choices handled through a dedicated lane. Chords may arrive from the DAW, a test setup, or another Kveik track. Thirty preset arp patterns are available, while linked parts can follow the same harmonic changes.
Host integration gets huge here. Kveik exposes 1,041 parameters covering track settings and block behavior, with control changes traveling both ways between plugin and DAW. MIDI export can target chosen tracks for sums or stems. Right-dragging also erases steps, while several looping, note-length, window, playback, and FL Studio problems have been fixed.
