BJP howls as Congress post shows office on fire

The Bharatiya Janata Party accused Congress on Tuesday of trying to provoke civil unrest through inflammatory social media content. Mumbai Police registered a case against an unknown individual after Maharashtra BJP filed a complaint about a Congress post that displayed a burning party office during demonstrations. BJP legislator Ram Kadam alleged the opposition was disrupting state peace, and he questioned why Congress showed images of a blazing BJP facility online.

Maharashtra BJP Social Media Cell Coordinator Prakash Gade submitted the complaint at Marine Drive Police Station under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita provisions for allegedly inciting violence. The disputed Congress post connected the image to rallies in Ladakh, Uttarakhand, and Bihar. BJP national spokesperson Aniket Nikam warned against attempts to disturb state stability after sharing the police report.
