Black Queens scent blood in Cairo rout

Ghana's Black Queens hold a 3-0 advantage over Egypt ahead of their Women's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier second leg on Tuesday at Accra Sports Stadium. Evelyn Badu, Doris Boaduwaa, and Grace Asantewaa scored in the first match in Cairo to put the team in a strong position to advance to the next round of Morocco 2026 qualifying.

Swedish coach Kim Lars Björkegren has implemented a possession-focused approach since taking over earlier this year. The Ghana Football Association receives $2 million in sponsorship from MTN to support the Black Stars, Black Queens, Black Satellites and Black Starlets with logistics and preparation.

The home side will depend on Asantewaa's midfield playmaking, Boaduwaa's speed and Badu's leadership to finish the tie. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. with fans expected to pack the stadium to watch Ghana try to seal qualification.
