BNP delays events, calls emergency meeting after Hadi's death

The BNP has postponed two major public events featuring senior leaders. This decision follows the political unrest triggered by the death of Sharif Osman Bin Hadi. The party will hold an emergency meeting of its Standing Committee tonight.

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will lead the session remotely. Events for Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and another senior official are now cancelled. The meeting will address the current national situation and determine the party's future strategy.
