A top Bangladesh Nationalist Party team will fly to China Sunday evening after getting asked to come over. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir leads the group that heads out from Dhaka late at night. The Communist Party of China sent the invite to bring them over for talks. BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan shared the travel news with reporters. Several important party leaders will make the trip together.
The team has some heavy hitters from BNP leadership joining the journey. Standing Committee members Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Selima Rahman and AZM Zahid Hossain will travel with the main group. Advisory Council members Zahir Uddin Swapon, Ismail Jabiullah and Prof Sukomal Barua also got spots for the visit. Media Cell Convener Maudud Ahmed Pavel rounds out the traveling party. All these leaders represent different parts of the political organization.
