BRAC Bank signed an agreement with VeloxPays Pty Ltd on Sept. 17 to automate remittance transfers for Bangladeshi workers in Australia. Shahrear Zamil from BRAC Bank and VeloxPays founder Md Riaj Uddin finalized the partnership at the bank headquarters in Dhaka. The Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre regulates VeloxPays, which operates through mobile applications and web platforms for money transfers.
The automated system connects VeloxPays to BRAC Bank through API integration for real-time transactions. Md. Shaheen Iqbal said the bank seeks to offer dependable and affordable transfer options for overseas wage earners. BRAC Bank plans to broaden its international remittance network and deliver efficient financial services to Bangladeshis worldwide.
