Brother Sammy left stranded in Mankessim by a pastor

Gospel artist Brother Sammy encountered a devastating ministry ordeal during a church engagement in Mankessim, Central Region. The pastor approached him while performing and requested assistance with fundraising efforts for the congregation. Brother Sammy agreed to help and successfully encouraged worshippers to donate generously to the church. The pastor and his spouse departed before the program concluded, leaving the musician without transportation or lodging arrangements. Security personnel informed Brother Sammy that the religious leaders had already gone home.

The gospel performer spent the night at the community center where the event occurred. A security guard provided him with a foam mattress and shared the same sleeping space. Brother Sammy attempted to contact the pastor the following morning but received no response to his telephone calls. The religious leader has never provided an explanation for abandoning his invited guest. This incident represents one of Brother Sammy's most traumatic ministry encounters and demonstrates the difficulties gospel artists often endure when performing at church events.
