Businesswoman Dedicates Hall of Fame Honor to Daughter Killed in School Tragedy

A cake business owner received recognition at the National Hall of Fame ceremony. Samantha Tsitsi Mutusva honored her deceased daughter during the award presentation. Her daughter Tarisai Kimberly perished during a school bus crash at Nyanga. The tragedy occurred during a Tynwald High School trip during 2022. Samantha creates wedding and celebration cakes through her company.

The business began operations during 2012 under Samantha's leadership. She expressed gratitude for the historic recognition from officials. Samantha thanked her customers and spouse for their continued support. The award represents years of hard work building her cake enterprise. She described feeling modest about receiving the business honor.

The Hall of Fame recognized multiple people for their community contributions. Dr John Mangwiro received recognition for his diabetes management center work. Dr Grace Musandirire earned honors for operating Grace Resort. Harare Mayor Jacob Mafume joined the honored group. Other recipients featured musician Sulumani Chimbetu and football coach Tonderai Ndiraya.

Football commentator Charles Mabika also earned recognition at the ceremony. Social media personality Mai TT completed the list of honorees. The awards celebrate people who create jobs and impact business sectors. Officials praised their efforts to strengthen the local economy. The ceremony highlighted diverse achievements across different professional fields.
