Butler's cry saves Sapna Rani, Bangladesh crushes Bhutan

Bangladesh extended their unbeaten streak to four matches with a commanding victory against Bhutan at Bashundhara Kings Arena-2 on Wednesday. The hosts secured a 3-0 victory that keeps them at the top of the SAFF U-20 Women's Championship standings. Spectators watched from outside the venue after officials relocated the match, with hundreds of supporters gathering beyond the gates. Both teams struggled with execution early, but Bangladesh capitalized on its opportunities. The home side demonstrated superior finishing when chances arose.

Sapna Rani entered the game after Bonna Khatun sustained an injury in the 30th minute. She immediately contributed by setting up Sree Moti Trishna Rani for the opening goal two minutes later. The home side held their one-goal advantage through halftime. Trishna found the net again in the 65th minute when Bhutan's defense and goalkeeper failed to clear properly. Despite missing a penalty kick earlier, Sapna redeemed herself with a remarkable 40-yard strike that sealed the victory.
