Cape Town in Tears Over Zimbabwean Whiskey OD

A young woman from Zimbabwe died at Karl Bremer Hospital on Sunday after drinking way too much Jack Daniel's whiskey. Natasha Judith Kufakunesu lived in Parow and had no family members close to Cape Town. The local Zimbabwean community felt very sad about her death. They decided to take care of her funeral plans since nobody else could do it. Crime Watch shared the news about what happened to her.

Community members face hard choices about sending her body back home to Zimbabwe. They started asking people for money and food to help with the funeral costs. The group wants to bring one of her family members to Cape Town to help with everything. Natasha's death shows how dangerous heavy drinking can be for people. Jack Daniel's has 40 percent alcohol and can hurt your body badly if you drink large amounts.

Doctors say drinking large amounts of alcohol can damage your brain and heart. It can also cause liver problems and might lead to cancer. Health workers tell people to be careful when they drink alcohol. They warn against drinking massive amounts at one time. People should know the dangers before they start drinking strong liquor.

This sad event makes people think about how Zimbabweans living far from home need better help. Many community members believe they need stronger support systems for emergencies. People want better ways to help when someone gets into trouble. Those who wish to donate money or provide assistance can call the number 27 84 958 6247. The community hopes to give Natasha a proper funeral service.
