Carrick High brawl leaves three stabbed, teen Anthony Taulton jailed

A Wednesday morning altercation at Carrick High School resulted in three students receiving stab wounds. Emergency responders arrived at the Pittsburgh facility around 8:30 AM after violence erupted in a school hallway. Medical teams transported two victims to separate hospitals while a third student received treatment for minor injuries at the scene. The most severely wounded teenager remains hospitalized in critical condition.

Police arrested Anthony Taulton, age 16, on multiple felony charges related to the attack. Authorities filed three aggravated assault counts against the suspect along with weapons violations. The defendant was transferred to Allegheny County Jail following his arrest. School officials confirmed that all participants ranged from 15 to 18 years old and emphasized that students face no continued danger.
